WIRUlink & Vuma Core Promotion
Terms And Conditions

• The “Promoter” of this promotion is WIRUlink (Pty) Ltd (“WIRUlink”) (registration number: 2006/011482/07) a Company incorporated in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.
• All persons entering (“the applicants”) a WIRUlink promotion ("the Promotion") agree to be bound by the Promotion rules, as set out in these Terms and Conditions.
• The Promotion (“Close Date”) is 6 June 2023 and the last day that applications for the Promotion will be accepted. The Close Date may be changed by WIRUlink/ VUMA with or without notice at its own discretion.
• The promotion is made available in collaboration with the fibre network operator, Vumatel (Pty) Ltd (“VUMA”).

• These terms and conditions as well as the promotion rules contain certain terms and conditions which:
  may create risk or liability for the applicant; and/or may limit the risk or liability of the Promoter or a third party; and/or may compel the applicant to indemnify the Promoter or a third party.
• Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the applicant or the Promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("the CPA").
• The applicant acknowledges that by submitting his or her Application to the Promotion he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read these terms and conditions before applying and that he/she understands and agrees to the terms and conditions.
• All applications to this promotion participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the applicant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoters and WIRUlink, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or willful misconduct of any indemnified party.
• All applicants during the term of this competition agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions which must be read together with other terms and conditions as published on the WIRUlink website as they are applicable, the Debit Order Instruction, the Rental Application, WIRUlink’s Quotation(s), WIRUlink’s Warranty and WIRUlink’s Acceptable Use and Fair Usage Policy (hereinafter referred to as “the Service Contract”).

• The promotion period is from the 27th (twenty seventh) of May 2023 to the 6th (sixth) of June 2023.
• The promotion only applies to these three VUMA promotional packages; 50/50Mbps, 100/100Mbps and 200/200Mbps.
• To qualify for this promotion, the participant must sign up for any of the above-mentioned WIRUlink Home Fibreservices on the VUMA network during the promotion period..
• The promotion will only be applicable to new installations.
• A credit of R2,732.77 (inclusive of VAT) will be applied to the applicant's WIRUlink account upon receipt of a zero value invoice from VUMA for new installation orders placed during the “Promotion Period”.
• The promotion is only available in Vuma Core areas (Cape Town, Johannesburg, Ekurhuleni, KwaZulu Natal), subject to a WIRUlink coverage check.
• The applicant will also receive free monthly subscription services (excluding optional and/or additional hardware and services: router, access point, network cabling, etc.) from the date of activation up to and including the 31st of August 2023.
• The monthly subscription fee will be waived from the day of activation/completion of the new installation up until the end of August 2023 (“the Free Period”). Thereafter advance billing will apply from 1 September 2023.
• The applicants will be eligible for this promotion if:
  • orders are placed within the Promotion Period; and
  • remain on the same promotional package during the promotional period; and
  • do not upgrade or downgrade to another package during the Free Period.
• Entering the participant gives WIRUlink permission to collate personal information about the user and utilise it for marketing WIRUlink services. The Participant can opt out of correspondence at any later date.

• the applicant must sign up for the qualifying VUMA services as offered by WIRUlink;
• The applicant must fall within the designated Vuma Core areas only:
  • Cape Town
  • Johannesburg
  • Ekurhuleni
  • KwaZulu Natal
• the applicant must be an individual, juristic entities are excluded from participation.

• VUMA Village & VUMA Reach Areas are excluded, including but not limited to certain areas within Johannesburg, Germiston, Bloemfontein, Boksburg, Pretoria, Alberton, Krugersdorp, Randburg, Sandton, Kempton Park.
• The promotion only applies to new installations and excludes reconnections, migrations from other ISPs, upgrades and downgrades..
